I really liked the video that was on the two presidential candidates Barack Obama and Mitt Romney and about their past. From the look of things u never thought that Barack Obama would have had a bad childhood and seemed like he had great life with great parent and had lots of friends and grew up in a wealthy neighborhood. I also learned what being a Mormon is and how a lot of people have bad view about it. Also both candidates not having people in their lives Obama didn’t have is parents in his life while young and Romney lost an important woman in his life that was like mother figure to him that concluded in death. Also knowing that government has been a huge parts of Romney’s life. And even all presidents’ wives aren’t perfect and I had to work things out. Another big thing was Barack Obama smoking weed in high school being a president of the United States you would never thought weed would be part of their past. Just knowing where these people are coming from and how then overcame a lot stuff and made the person in front of us and just making connections with people because you know they went through same struggles you had.

When we were doing the minor party project I had no idea what a minor party was but while learning them I thought it was so crazy how many they were and what interesting views people had and crazy as a member you had benefits I thought it was just two main parties and being a voter and taking this survey teaches a lot about the government and what laws you might need to know later on in life. I think it’s good that our school had survey as a senior requirement class because when we vote we have no idea what we’re doing and think no point of voting if you have no knowledge of what you are voting for. Personally I’m glad I took survey this year, its helping decide and why I’m deciding for that person and if I didn’t take survey my mom would just told who she was voting for and would probably do the exact same but now I have opinion about what and who I can vote for on my own knowledge.
The presidential debates and vice president debate and just being old enough understand what the candidates are trying to do for our country are so much different when you can actually vote, because I remember my mom making big deal about when Obama won against McCain four years ago. Mostly, because it was a black man about to be the president of the Unites States of America and also remember my mom watching the debate to but I didn’t care because it different really affect me. But being eighteen, and about to be a college student and my future could be out steak because these presidents have different on college and plus helping my mom out because she is considered in the middle class and the middle class is getting hurt the most and hating watching struggle in ways. So also creating because, when I get out of college of a job and for a lot students its hard for them to find a job and being voter I can decide which president I want to help me and family the most for a brighter future.
